We start by listening to your ideas, how you want the space to feel, and what it needs to do. From a home that brings people together to a workplace that reflects your business, we develop the design with you, balancing personal expression, everyday function, and lasting quality.

Not all architects think like we do.

Our difference lies in how we think, not just what we draw. We explore the possibilities, develop the design, and coordinate the details.

Start with the people

Your priorities and the people using the space give the design its purpose.

Make ideas visible

Moodboards, design concepts, and renderings bring options into view while the design develops.

Connect the decisions

We consider layout, materials, function, and investment together.

Feasibility studies

Explore what’s possible.

You don’t need to know which service to choose. Begin with a feasibility study to explore your ideas before committing to a larger project.

Buying a property or advising a client? Explore its possibilities before deciding what comes next.

What’s included

We review your goals alongside the property’s possibilities and constraints.

What you leave with

A clearer direction, with guidance on the design services and scope your project needs next.

Questions before we begin

Do you work on both commercial and residential spaces?

Yes. Ficus Architecture + Design provides architecture and interiors for commercial and residential spaces. Whether you're creating a business environment or reshaping a home, we begin with who will use it and what you want it to become.

Does my project need to be a full remodel?

We work on substantial renovations as well as standalone interiors and furnishings. If you're considering changes to particular rooms, tell us what you have in mind. We'll discuss whether the project needs architectural work, interior design, or both.

Can I contact you before buying a property?

Yes. We can discuss the changes you're considering and whether a feasibility study would help you assess the property's possibilities and constraints. A study may be needed before design can be scoped; it is a separate paid service, not a guarantee of approval.

What happens after I get in touch?

We start with a complimentary call, followed by a complimentary site visit with our principal architect. These conversations help us understand your priorities and explore the property's possibilities. We clarify scope and fee before you engage us.

How do you determine the design fee?

The fee depends on the agreed scope of work. We clarify the services and deliverables your project needs and explain what the proposed fee covers before you commit. We can discuss how different scope choices relate to your priorities and investment.

Can your team stay involved during construction?

Yes. We offer construction administration within an agreed scope, including responding to design questions, reviewing relevant submissions, and making periodic site observations. Our role focuses on design review and observation, with the extent of our involvement defined for your project.
